3D Laser Scanning

Our design staff are fully trained and competent in working with 3D laser scanning technology/softwares. What is it? 3D scanning is the process of analyzing a real-world object or environment to collect data on its shape and possibly its appearance (e.g. colour). The collected data can then be used to construct digital 3D models.

New Staff at EDES

Staff recruitment continues apace, with new staff starting in October 2017 to meet our increasing workload. We welcome Circuit Design Engineer Kieron Smith, and CAD/Developing Circuit Design Engineer Stephen Lond.  

Bredbury GIS Substation Update

Bredbury GIS replacement substation building construction is complete, with GIS switchgear installed, commissioned and tested. The first National Grid SGT circuit connection is currently underway as EDES staff continue to manage circuit transfer jointing works, which are to be completed in 2017.  

EDES New Office Premises

We are delighted to announce that our new business premises are up and running. The business relocation was completed over a weekend and the building is now fully occupied.
